PRE-ENGINEERED SYSTEMS

The ELIRE systems transform infrastructure into a deployable operational capability. Built from modular, interconnectable units, the system enables rapid assembly, expansion, and reconfiguration in infrastructure-denied, austere, or contested environments without requiring dredging or permanent civil engineering works.
-
Central Aperture Integration: Integrates a central service trunk and moon pool for protected subsea access, below-deck utility distribution, and hydrodynamic motion damping.
-
Global Transportability: Available in marine-grade steel or lightweight aluminium containerised kits-of-parts for rapid transport via road, rail, or sea.
-
Multi-Disciplinary Engineering: Developed through extensive cross-disciplinary naval architecture, subsea, and systems engineering to ensure resilient, future-ready maritime infrastructure.
SUBSTRUCTURES
Substructures are engineered using established naval architecture and conventional shipbuilding principles, delivering high structural resilience and damage tolerance under demanding operational loads.
-
Core Construction: Utilises Grade A mild steel with a yield strength of 235 MPa, supported by radial girders, internal bulkheads, and compartmentalised watertight buoyancy cells.
-
Classification Standards: Designed and classified in strict accordance with Bureau Veritas Rules for the Classification of Floating Establishments (BV NR 580 DNI R00 E).

SUPERSTRUCTURES
Operating on an 80/20 engineering philosophy - where 80% remains a standardized floating foundation - the platform supports interchangeable mission payloads and prefabricated modular superstructures.
-
Adaptable Payload Buildings: Accommodates lightweight, modular facilities including passenger-focused spaces (Lucia Building) and service/operational nodes (Technical Building).
-
Seamless Integration: Designed for rapid assembly, flexible spatial layouts, and direct connection to below-deck utilities for diverse operational and commercial applications.
MODULAR INTERCONNECTORS
Engineered mechanical pin connections serve as the structural backbone of the Smart Hub platform, linking individual floating units into stable, reconfigurable operational platforms.
-
Structural Continuity: Provides secure load distribution while allowing modules to be disconnected, swapped, or reconfigured without dismantling the wider system.
-
Unlimited Scalability: Hexagonal geometry enables expansion on any face, interfacing directly with station-keeping and deployable grid-independent energy systems.

ANCHORING & MOORING
Modular anchoring and mooring systems enable rapid station-keeping for near-shore and sheltered floating assets without relying on permanent quayside infrastructure.
-
Station-Keeping Systems: Incorporates seabed anchors, tensioning elements, and flexible connectors to maintain location integrity.
-
Dynamic Damping: Allows controlled, safe movement under hydrodynamic forces and environmental loads to preserve platform stability.
